First, this was not made for the iphone 3g and does not quite fit a 3g screen (it's a little too small and leaves an edge around that dirt can get into). Second, poor quality of adhesive means there are lots of air bubbles no matter how you put it on which affect the quality of the view of the screen and your ability to navigate. Third, this seller charges almost as much in shipping as for the product--and over 3x what it actually costs to ship! If you're going to pay that much for a screen, shop somewhere with higher-quality products instead.
